Within a short stroll of the apartment there is a full Equestrian facility with
stabling for thirty horses and two large ménages where riding lessons and
competitions take place.
The riding school is one of the most respected on the Costa Del Sol and stages the prestigious Apsrey Cup once a year during which the worlds best eventers compete for the Internationally respected cup.
The riding school is really well set up to cater for children and riders of all
abilities including complete novices. The lessons are friendly and informal, and
there are very few places in Europe that you would prefer to learn or improve
your riding skills.
If you are a competent rider and are looking to play or learn polo there are several clubs in the area. The Santa Maria more of a high goal club, but makes for a fantastic day out if you simply want to lounge around in the sun and watch the chukkas whilst enjoying a few drinks. Alternatively The campamento club is run by Nick Williams senior HPA coach and father to England's six goal player Roddy Williams. The club is informal and suited to low goal chukkas and offers extensive tutorials suited for players from complete beginner up to one goal handicap.
